Chicken Satay w/ Peanut Sauce

ingredients

  • Chicken – 16 oz
  • Sesame Oil – 2 Tbsp
  • Soy Sauce (low sodium) – 6 Tbsp
  • Chinese 5 Spice Powder – 1 tsp
  • Natural PB (Kirkland) – 4 Tbsp
  • Ground Coriander – 1/2 tsp
  • Ground Cumin – 1/2 tsp
  • Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Water – 1/2 Cup

Makes 12 servings

1. Cut Chicken in strips of desired size

2. Combine: Sesame Oil, Soy Sauce (SAVE 1 Tbsp for sauce) and 5-Spice powder. Stir, then marinade Chicken for 2 hours, flip at 1 hour mark.

3. Soak Skewers in water for at least 1 hour to avoid burning

4. Bake Chicken at 350 for about 12-15 min

5. Combine: PB, 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce, Coriander, Cumin, Paprika and Water. Stir. *You can heat this up in a microwave if you want it to be warm
