Maple Walnut

ingredients

  • Oats – 1/2 Cup
  • Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (Hyvee) – 1 Cup
  • Cinnamon – 1 tsp
  • Maple Syrup (Wagner’s) – 1 Tbsp
  • Walnuts (crushed) (Kirkland) – 1/8 cup
  • Honey Crisp Apple – 100g
  • Vanilla Ice Cream¬†Protein (Optimum Nut.) – 1 Scoop
  • Water – 1/4 Cup

Makes 1 serving

1. In a small pot, bring Almond Milk to a boil

2. Reduce heat to medium-low, add Oats and Cinnamon

3. Let simmer for about 10 min (until liquid is almost entirely absorbed), stirring on occasion

4. Remove from heat, add: Syrup, Walnuts and Apples, and stir

5. Mix Vanilla Protein and Water together, then pour over top of Oats
