Meatball Sub

ingredients

Ground Turkey (Butterball) – 16 oz

Eggs (large) – 2

Panko Italian Bread Crumbs (Hyvee) – 1/2 Cup

Onion Powder – 1 tsp

Garlic Powder – 1 Tbsp

Oregano – 1 tsp

Parsley – 1 tsp

Parmesan Cheese (Hyvee) – 1/4 Cup

Unsweetened Almond Milk – 1/8 Cup

Tomato Basil Sauce (Monte Bene) – 1/2 Cup

Sub Bun (Kroger) – 5

Tomato Basil Sauce (Monte Bene) – 1/2 Cup

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (Hyvee) – 1 Cup

*Makes 5 servings - 3 Meatballs per serving

1. Mix the first 9 ingredients in a bowl (Turkey-Milk), then roll into 15 equal balls

2. Spray basket with cooking oil, do NOT overcrowd the basket. I did 2 batches

3. Air Fry @ 400 for 12 min. At the 6 min mark, flip and rotate

4. Top with 1/2 Cup Sauce, air fry for another 2 min @ 400

5. Open Sub Bun and spray with cooking oil, then add 1/2 cup of Mozzarella, and place in Air Fryer and cook @ 400 for 2-3 min.

6. Add Meatballs to Sub, top with remaining 1/2 cup Sauce and Mozzarella. Then enjoy or Air Fry for another 2-3 min to melt cheese.
