Tuna Noodle Casserole

ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Makes 4 servings

Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then mix them with the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, peas, and half of the cheese. Spread this mixture in a baking dish. In a separate bowl, combine the remaining cheese, breadcrumbs, milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the casserole. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
